Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we meet?

All charters depart and return FROM THE BEACH just to the South of El Chiringuito Resturant at 7:15am. Feel free to text or call Capt Lee upon your arrival or his crew will be there to collect you and your party promptly at 7:15am. Parking is ample and secure but please leave nothing of value in sight.

Most days there is a parking attendant who will ask for 3,000.00 colones donation for watching your vehicle (upon your return). He keeps the area safe and clean so we do support his business.

Any problems or confusion with directions please contact Capt Lee 011-506-8460-1242

Tipping?

Seasoned anglers know the drill but folks new to the sport do not. Tipping is customary and universal in our industry, 15-20% divided amongst the crew is standard but always tip as you see fit. Hard work should be rewarded.

What if we have a large group or family; can you accommodate us? (Large families, weddings, business & incentive groups)

Yes, we work with large groups all the time and can organize larger or multiple Boat to accommodate you and your guests. Please note that we are more than happy to help you with all details in regards to your upcoming trip to the Tamarindo,Flamingo, Playa Langosta and the surrounding areas. Just ask!

Where should we stay in Playa Tamarindo/ Playa Langosta /Flamingo areas?

We operate a 3-bedroom oceanfrontluxury condo in Playa Langosta and have access to several private homes in the area. We are happy to recommend several places to stay in the area. Just drop us a line, we are happy to help.

Is it safe?

Yes, Tamarindo, Flamingo, Playa Langosta and Costa Rica in general are a very safe place. Petty theft can occur from time to time. If you leave something sitting around unattended or on the dashboard of your car, chances are it may not be there upon your return. You do not need to bring grandma’s wedding ring with you. Travel smart!

Dollars or Colones?

You do not need to change U.S. currency; the dollar is widely accepted in Costa Rica. Please be advised that many small boutiques and street vendors will not accept larger bills. We recommend having smaller notes for these items. ATM’s are located throughout Playa Tamarindo, Langposta and Flamingo.

What do we need to bring?

You are welcome to bring anything that you deem necessary to make your day more enjoyable less illegal drugs and substances.
